Created in the style of a white-washed Sultan’s palace, the award-winning, spacious villas with private plunge pools are embellished with beautiful fabrics, hand-carved furniture and antiques. There is a kids’ club with activities for young guests, affording parents the opportunity to escape to the Frangipani Spa, learn to dive at the PADI Dive Centre or take advantage of a host of watersports. Fine cuisine showcasing the island’s excellent produce and spices is served in the Sultan’s Dining Room, with buffet lunches served daily at Sebule.
Zanzibar’s seasons mirror Tanzania, with the driest months being June to October. November/December and the long rains from March to May.
